The Whiskey Bards are a group of friends who have joined together to pursue the bardic arts of times past … and a bit of the new. Our performances include our own arrangements of traditional folk songs, sea shanties, and ballads as well as original compositions in the bardic idiom. Yes – we used idiom in a sentence! With over 20 years working together as a band, we have made a few changes along the way. This year you’ll see a few new faces and hear some new songs. The intimate, cabaret styling and ad hoc humor remains strong at the core of who we are.
We look forward to sharing a song, and perchance a dram, with you at the Age of Chivalry Renaissance Festival. Slainte va!
